Vic Zast is a freelance sportswriter and author of the award-winning book, The History and Art of 25 Travers. In addition, he serves as a consultant to the fragrance and cosmetics industry, in which he worked for over 30 years as the CEO of several companies.

A survivor of open heart valve surgery, Vic developed the idea for OurLongestDrive.com after learning about Inuvik from reading a mystery novel while convalescing.

Vic has been married to Maureen O’Brien for 38 years and the couple has three children, one married with two children, all living in New York City. As a golfer who plays 15 rounds a year, he is a 14-handicap player. He believes global warming is a serious and costly danger to this and future societies.
